Today, I begin a month-long post-election political blackout. No news, no Daily Show, no Colbert, no political blogs, no discussion boards, no nothin'.
Good for my sanity, right?

Received an e-mail two nights ago from Michael Kress:
"Stephanie and I are thrilled to let you know that we had a beautiful
baby girl last night! She was born at 9:30 p.m., and weighed 7 lbs, 15
oz. Mother and daughter are doing great--exhausted, but resting
happily."
I am starting to feel so old...

"With deepest gratitude to G-d we announce the birth of our daughter Born November 25, 2006 at 12:45 AM Amarit and Baby are home and healthy"
