| I'm born, raised, schooled, etc in Albany, NY, which isn't exactly a hotbed of excitement, but I'm lucky enough to travel extensively, for both personal and professional ventures. Anyway, I assembled this site as a window into my thoughts and busy life, mostly for friends with whom I have difficulty keeping up, as I spend most of my time on the road. I tend to think a lot about several topics, including politics, sports, TV, music, and my wavering connection to the Jewish community. Professionally, I am the Chief Operating Officer for MyJewishLearning.com and the Technical Coordinator for The Curriculum Initiative, Inc. I am the former operations director for the Bronfman Youth Fellowships in Israel. I've worked on a number of real estate projects, including Long Dock Beacon, an environmentally sensitive mixed-use development project on the shores of the Hudson River in Beacon, N.Y. I am a member of the board of the Jewish Studies Center at the University at Albany and am on the Web/Tech team for Limmud NY. I serve as an advisor for the Albany, N.Y., chapter of the B’nai B’rith Youth Organization and was selected to participate in the Professional Leaders Project, a national initiative to renew the Jewish professional sector. |
